Azteca Margarita

Azteca is Jessierae, a gorgeous Californian hospo wizard of the highest order & Tommy, a chef and fly kickin’ fella from the biggest little town in Australia. (Yeeha Mullum!)

These two found each other in Laos, 12+ cheeky years ago. Many trips to Mexico ensued, struck by its unrivalled awesomeness and whirl ripping energy.
They swam home and kicked off Azteca Taqueria, A happenin’ taco thang based in Sydney.

One sunny arvo, Jessie was sipping on a homemade salty marg when all of a sudden - Blammo! she fell off her chair, struck with inspiration.

“I’m a flippin’ genius” she cried, fist pumping the air. Tom, practising his double back flips, froze. The two locked eyes with a knowing nod and smiles the size of the Murray Darlin’. The rest was history - Adiós Azteca Taqueria and Hello Azteca Margarita.

Now the two just kick around Byron shakin’ badass margaritas.

What Makes it Feel Good?

Brewed weekly by hand in small batches (our tanks are just 300 litres) using fresh juice, organic Mexican agave nectar, sea salt, citrus rinds, dried flowers, chillies…AZTECA uses NO preservatives, colours, numbers or “flavours” - NO SHIT!

AZTECA Badass Salt - recycling botanicals from our brews, sea salt is blitzed with orange, lemon, lime, chilies & flowers, and included with every bottle.

We use only organic Mexican agave nectar to very lightly sweeten our margs. Agave nectar is a healthier, natural, low GI, plant derived sweetener.

We brew every week at Margaritaville so your margs are always fresh, but bottles last unopened for 9 months (from brew date). Once opened, pop in the fridge & use within 3 weeks.

Our 1 litre bottles make 16 “bar pours” but it’s up to you! The ratio is 2 parts AZTECA to 1 part tequila
